AdminHistory | Thomas Lainton was born in 1902 and enlisted into the Manchester Regiment at Ashton-under-Lyne on 26 August 1920. He served with the 2nd Battalion, A Company. He was discharged from the Manchesters and re-enlisted into the Royal Pioneer Corps on 12 April 1949 and again on 13 May 1952. He was Warrant Officer at Ashton-under-Lyne Barracks. |
