AdminHistory | Born in 1892 Frank Ogden enlisted at Oldham in Jan 1915, serving in D Company, 1/7 Battalion, the Manchester Regiment. Serving in France he was admitted to hospital on 30 Sep 1918 suffering from severe gun shot wounds to his right leg, which was amputated in Oct 1918. Consequently he was declared no longer physically fit for war service and was discharged in Nov 1919. |
