One official army photograph of group of soldiers, some of whom wearing soft hot weather hats; the photo has been marked on the back with 'South Africa.' One official army group photograph of soldiers entitled 'Sergeant's Mess, 9th Manchester Regiment, Reg. I Camp, Dolphinholme, August, 1911.' One official army photograph of 9th Battalion military band, not dated. One photograph of some of the men of 3rd Volunteer Battalion standing outside the Armoury at Ashton-under-Lyne, not dated. One photograph of four British soldiers with camels in Egypt, date is thought to be between 1914 and 1915 and men of the 9th Battalion. The photograph is in very delicate condition; cracked in the centre. One photograph of East Lancashire Territorial Force marching through camp with rifles. One official army photograph of some members of the military band of the 9th Battalion; Arthur Green has been identified on the reverse of the photo. One photograph of small group of soldiers in uniform with soft hot weather hats and rifles, posing in fornt of a tent, not dated. One photograph of men of the 9th Manchester thought to be dated August 1914; the men are in a holding area and have luggage at their feet. All but one of the photographs has been backed onto card.
