Includes War News, Ship and voyage information, and unit roster. The Kernel, Sep. 22nd 1914. 'Sword of Damocles', instruction of fitness and cleanliness in Egypt, Cricket news, and War News. Photo cutting from "Central News" - 'British Bluejackets make merry on the steps of the Great Pyramid at Ghizeh during the Naval visit to Alexandria'. Small cutting - 'Scott's Emulsion' followed by Arabic writing. Egyptian periodical - largely Arabic with a small English summary - speaks of the Grand March Past, early November. 'The Territorials in Egypt' - Letter from John H. Bambridge, East Lancs Royal Engineers to unknown newspaper. Cutting from unknown newspaper - 'A Tribute to our Territorials' regarding the Territorials in Egypt, as well as 'March Past of the Cairo Garrison' in photos; seems to be from a newspaper printed for British troops in Egypt.
