Cpl Willmott was wounded and taken as a prisoner of war by the Germans in April 1917. Much of thecorrespondence is from family and friends during his time as a P.o.W., as well as letters of condolence to his family following his death in 1971 and some material from the Ministry of Penions in the 1920s. |
