DescriptionHandwritten letter addressed to 'Dear Albert' from 'Your Loving Brother Reg', 4 Renshaw Street, Chorlton -on-Medlock, Manchester. Writer acknowledges receipt of postcard and writes that he is glad that Cpl. Willmott is recovering. The writer tells Cpl. Willmott that 'Mother' and 'the kiddies' are going to Blackpool in a fortnight's time and that he was 17 last wednesday. Writer is looking forward to joining the army and talks about the upcoming football (soccer) season and discusses Richmond A.F.C. which he is playing with. He tells Cpl. Willmott that 'Father' is still woring at Darbys and says that he doesn't think the English climate suits Edna. Writer has recently received a letter from Tich Dell who is looking forward to meeting up with Cpl. Willmott after the war.
