DescriptionHandwritten letter addressed to 'Dear Albert' from 'Alfred', 72 Park Street, Greenheys, Manchester. Writer apologises for not having written sooner and tells Cpl. Willmott that he has recently seen "...your kid..." (Cpl. Willmott's brother Reg) and that "...he really is a knut." Writer also mentions meeting Marjorie Hamilton and Emma Morewood and says he cannot go out much as he has to be in Eccles Hospital. Also mentions that mutual acquaintance Fred Inglefield is now a Sergeant in France. Writes that he is also sending a photograph of himself and "...his late missus.." as he is single again. Concludes by wishing Cpl. Willmott a happy birthday.
