DescriptionHandwritten letter addressed to 'Dear Albert' from 'Father'. Writer acknowledges receipt of a letter, photos and a postcard from Cpl. Willmott and tells him that he will not get the next prisoners parcel which the writer will send to him until June. The writer tells Cpl. Willmott that he will send the items requested by him and that they would like a photo of Cpl. Willmott on his own if possible. The writer tells Cpl. Willmott that they have given one of his photos to (the) Goodwins as both Jessie and Bertha were at the house when his letter arrived. The writer also asks Cpl. Willmott to send a postcard to (his sister) Edna, who will be 9 years old on the 21st of June (1918), as she is beginning to read. He reminds Cpl. Willlmott that will be a year exactly form when his family heard where Cpl. Willmott was. Envelope attached.
