Willmott if he has come across a soldier named 'Bloomfield', also believed taken prisoner by the Germans. Writer discusses the weather and tells Cpl. Willmott that 'Alfred' was asking after him. Also tells Cpl. Willmott that she has seen his mother and sister recently and that Alfred's uncle was a guard at an unnamed internment camp in Britain.
