Corporal William Albert Willmott 47284 17th Battalion, The Manchester Regiment Handwritten letter addressed to 'Dear Bert' from 'Cecil J [Howgego], 116 Burges Road, East Ham, London, E.6. Writer tells Cpl. Willmott that his leave will be over on 5 February next and that he ahd heard that Cpl. Willmott had got a staff job at Munster (prisoner of war camp). Also tells him that "Alf got away on the Corporal stint." Writer tells Cpl. Willmott that he ended up in a convalescent camp and that he is now patiently awaiting his ticket. Ends by asking Cpl.
